Jono Lancaster is an author, presenter, and public speaker who advocates for self love, surrounding yourself with epic people, and being the biggest hero in your own life. Born with a visible difference in a world obsessed with image and looks, Jono was left in the hospital at birth. His journey to today has not been straightforward but nothing has stopped him from loving himself, showing his authentic self to the world, and filling his life with love and adventure.
In his memoir, Not All Heroes Wear Capes, Jono shares his remarkable story, the highs and lows of his journey and how he turned his differences into his greatest strengths. Jono is co-founder of the Love Me Love My Face Foundation, set up to raise awareness of Treacher Collins Syndrome and Craniofacial Conditions, supporting families and educating individuals and the public.
Dr. Peter Mossey is Professor of Craniofacial Development, Consultant in Orthodontics, and Associate Dean for Student Recruitment and Global Partnerships at the University of Dundee Dental School. He is Past President of IADR Global Oral Health Inequalities Research Network (GOHIRN) and Convenor of World Dental Federation (FDI) Oral Health in Comprehensive Cleft Care. Dr. Mossey served as Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre on Craniofacial Anomalies from 2004-2018, he is a committee member of the Alliance for Oral Health Across Borders (AOHAB), and a member of the Medical Advisory Board of Smile Train.
