November 4, 2024 – ACPA and the Circle of Cleft Professionals (CoCP), a network of 10 global cleft care NGOs, are proud to announce a new partnership which focuses on the Cleft Palate Craniofacial Journal (CPCJ). Together, we will work on championing Low and Middle Income Country (LMIC)-rooted Comprehensive Cleft Care, facilitating collaboration among multidisciplinary cleft professionals, and amplifying tools, practical initiatives, and research.

“Our coalition resonates with ACPA’s pioneering focus upon interdisciplinary cleft and craniofacial care with the goal of seeing patients and families thrive” said Hugh Brewster, a host of the CoCP.  “Articles in the CPCJ are an amazing resource for cleft teams worldwide and our members are motivated to see research from their own contexts in print”.

“We are committed to seeing international voices contribute to the future of interdisciplinary care and we are proud to offer our support of the CoCP’s objectives”, said Jamie Perry, PhD, CCC-SLP, CPCJ Editor in Chief. “Focusing on equitable access to the latest research in the CPCJ at a global scale is something we are proud to work towards along with the CoCP”.
