We understand that unexpected change happens, and financial decisions change with it. ACPA is pleased to announce that lapsed members who do not have the funds to renew their dues for 2025, and otherwise would choose to retain their membership, may be eligible to receive one year of ACPA membership at no cost through our Membership Assistance Program. Ensuring that cleft and craniofacial professionals remain up to date and within the field is paramount to our mission. The ACPA Board of Directors has voted to approve the use of funds, donated to ACPA by the late Dr. Janet Solomonson, towards this program. To qualify, individuals must:
- Have been an ACPA Member for at least two consecutive years, with membership expiring in December 2024
- Be eligible to receive Professional or Early Career Membership
- Reside in the United States or Canada
- Be experiencing a temporary financial hardship as a barrier to renewing membership with ACPA
- Have not received membership assistance from ACPA within the last year.
Applications for financial assistance will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis while funds last. If approved, there are no stipulations or further requirements of the program. All applications are kept strictly confidential and reviewed by ACPA staff only.
