Boston, MA | March 24–28, 2026 — Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft-focused organization, is proud to serve as the International Program Supporter and Gold Sponsor of the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association (ACPA)’s 2026 Annual Meeting, a premiere event in cleft and craniofacial education.
Taking place on March 24-28 at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza Hotel, the meeting will showcase an extensive lineup of educational talks, panels, and courses. Smile Train will participate in the meeting’s educational programming, sharing its leadership in expanding access to comprehensive cleft care globally. The organization will also highlight the work of Simulare Medical, A Division of Smile Train, demonstrating how training innovations like 3D-printed surgical simulators are advancing surgical training and strengthening cleft care in low- and middle-income countries.
“We are proud to play a role in ACPA’s 2026 Annual Meeting,” said Erin Stieber, Chief Programs Strategy Officer at Smile Train. “This meeting provides an important platform to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that every child born with a cleft has access to safe, high-quality treatment worldwide. Supporting Smile Train partners from around the world to share their experience and expertise at ACPA exemplifies Smile Train’s sustainable model of delivering cleft care.”
Smile Train’s sponsorship will enable 10 global partner medical professionals from eight countries – Brazil, Chile, China, DR Congo, India, Mexico, Morocco, and Nicaragua – to attend the meeting. One is participating in ACPA’s Visiting Scholar Program through the ACPA-Smile Train Visiting Scholarship, which provides medical professionals with firsthand exposure to interdisciplinary, team-based cleft and craniofacial care, ultimately equipping them to improve and expand treatment in their home countries.
“Having Smile Train partners join us year after year at our annual meetings is always an incredible opportunity,” said Adam Levy, CAE, Executive Director at ACPA. “By connecting experts from around the world to share their expertise, we are strengthening cleft care and supporting the medical professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children with facial differences.”
